Second chance

It has been a great and busy cny week. I enjoyed myself to the max. :)
With all the red packets coming in nonstop & eating good food on the first two days of cny.
I think i gained another 2kg. Even my mum said my tummy has extra sparetyres. SHIT!
Met up with relatives and cousins i have not seen for a year and of course catching up is a must. Mahjong for continuous days and now im kinda sick of it.
Haha but sad to say it has already became an addiction. Oh well, i guess it's fine if i just stick to playing 20cents 40 cents. :/
Enough of the fun and enjoyment. I need to get a fcuking job soon. I dont want to spend my holi just like what i had always did, play club shop.-.- Guess i need to head down to another job agency soon. Darn the recession.

23/01/09 - Friday.

Hit town with Choosie, darren and PYM. Our aim was to get jojo's birthday present. We could not decide whether to get F21 or Zara vouchers at first but in the end we chose zara. Caught Bride's war at cine as well. Quite a touching and heartwarming show about friendship and childhood dreams, yeah. After that we made our way to Holland V Essential's brew. Jojo was there already! Waited for lee to come. The food there was kinda new to me cause they mix jasmine and whatever tea into their sauce together with the spices. But it turned out pretty good! Next was the cake cutting session! :D

24/01/09 - Saturday

Had a early reunion dinner with cousins and aunt at Grandma's place. Took alot of photos. Yeah lol, i realised we seldom take pictures together as in we relative cause we only see each other once in a blue moon. So yup. (: Grandma made my favourite popiah! :DDD Like finally, i told her i wanna eat since months ago. She still complained that it took her 3 days just to prepare the veggies itself. -.-

After dinner, went to town to meet up with Carol, Songquan and his friend. Shop around far east, Heeren and cine for my shoes. The one that i like from Vans is out of stock. Urgh i hate it. Should have bought it earlier but im fickle minded. In the end, i got one from Everlast. Had our dinner at Xing wang cafe before watching Bride's war. Yeah, like again. But it was worth it. (:

25/01/09 - Sunday

Slacked at home in the noon after that went grandma's place for the actual reunion dinner. Then headed down to chinatown with family do some last min shopping.

26/01/09 - Monday

The first day of chinese new year. Every year it is the same procedure. The first house we would visit is Grandma's after that went relative house visiting till the late evening. Met nicck after that for Mahjong at his place.

27/01/09 - Tuesday

Headed to Nicck's relative place to bai nian. After that rushed off to my dad's relative side. Mahjong and Poker for the whole day. I won like mad but nicck lose so in the end i didnt win at all. :( Left the place at around 9plus. Then went to Cine to catch The wedding game. Sucky show, not funny at all so dont watch it!

Happy anniversary baby!

Hit town to shop. Initial plan was to go bugis but i dont think all the shops will be open yet. Went around looking for nicck's mum belated birthday present. After searching around for more than 10 shops we decided to get the Christian Dior wallet for her. It costs a bomb but we think she'll like it as it is quite unique, made up of lambskin and patent leather. (: Had our dinner at Ikea then headed to nicck's place.

Nicck got these from his msia trip.


Thanks darling. As long as it's from you, i will like it. Although escada is not my favourite but i still will use it yeah.:D

29/01/09 - Thursday

We had mahjong session at Lee's place. She asked us to go over to see her renovated house. Haha. Had our lunch at Ginza plaza's Subway then went over to play 2 rounds. To be exact 1 and half round cause i was rushing for time as i had church practice. My hand was sway like mad lor. Lost like 20 bucks to darren. urgh. When there are winnings, there are bound to be losing. :( Cabbed over to church after that. Then had late night supper at railway mall with nicck, paul and siling.

Out for the whole day. Hit town, shop, movie then dined at Holland V's Essential brew for jojo's early birthday celebration. I will post up the pictures the next time.

Anyway, bride's war is really a must watch. It is so touching it made darren almost cry okay!

I wanna be a wedding planner when i grow up. Whahahahahha. :D

Headed to town for shopping. Acc-ed nicck to do some last minute cny shopping. It was not a wasted trip afterall. He bought all just in a day. Woohoo. & the black leather jacket from Zara which i think is really co0l. Haha.

Met up with teck yong and jac at far east. We had our dinner at this thai and chinese cuisine restaurant which i forgot the name.

Oh ya, did i mention he shaved his hair bald? LOL. But still looks so cuteeeeeeee, okay to me.

Weeee, i went recruit express yesterday with Choosie to look for job.
So currently, im still waiting for the person's call. *cross my fingers*
Hope i can get a job, preferably admin in bank. Only need to work during weekdays so i wont miss out on my life and on the ther hand got cash to spend. You wont hear me complaining about being broke so often. Hahaha.

The sad thing is, my status now is still penniless because i just paid for e35d chalet. Tmrw, jojo's birthday present, dinner and movie. Urgh. I seriously need cash yaw. For valentines day and save up for nicck's birthday.

Oh yeahhhhh, my parcels arrived! :D After three long weeks.
Alright probably watching love matters later at jp. Hope it will not be as croweded as the previous 2 movies i caught there. :/

Didnt plan this outing. Just randomly asked nicck to bring me there. Haha, partly because after watching little nyonya that's why abit gien to go there take a look.

It was written there that this set of jewellery was wore for mourning ceremony for the nyonya ladies and it can last up to 1 year. It's like Omg la.

Now they really cut down alot ah compare the funeral 3 days to 1 year.-.-

Nyonya beaded shoes for wedding. So pretty right, the beadwork is so intricate. I wanan get one for myself but it costs fking $400. :(

I am super high in holiday mood now.

Plans made pretty much preoccupied much days of the 10 weeks long vacation.

1 night Msia trip to desaru with the cheapo lovelies. Haha, yuenky came up with that name.

We are going to see the beach..water activities like speedboat and banana boat's FTW! Other than that, shaocheng is nice enough to let us sleepover at his place and he said the seafood near his house is dirt cheap and of course delicious as well. Most importantly i get to see firefly at night! Super excited! :D Why singapore dont have ah?

Bintan trip with nicck, but date not cfm yet.
